Day 2 of our Jaipur–Goa Mega Road Trip Series 🚗🐾
We continued our journey from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, covering 608 kms in 14 hours with family and our pug Maggie 🐶 in our Tata Safari.
The drive had its ups and downs – from smooth expressways to traffic jams and rough patches:
✔️ NE1 (Ahmedabad–Vadodara Expressway) & NE4 till Bharuch – fantastic stretch with greenery, smooth roads & great driving experience 🌿🚦
✔️ Post Bharuch – city roads, heavy traffic & uneven stretches slowed us down 🛑🚚
✔️ Golden Quadrilateral till Mumbai – lots of trucks & potholes made driving a challenge 🚛
✔️ Maharashtra entry – delays at state checkposts but better road conditions ahead 🚧
✔️ The reward – entering Mumbai’s glamorous skyline, crossing the Bandra-Worli Sea Link & the stunning Atal Setu Bridge into Navi Mumbai 🌉🌆
📌 Route Covered: Ahmedabad → Vadodara → Bharuch → Mumbai

Despite the challenges, the monsoon greenery, expressway drives, and iconic Mumbai views made Day 2 unforgettable.
